Kliuchevskoi, also spelled Klyuchevskoy, on the Kamchatka Penunsula of far eastern Russia, is a young, very active stratovolcano that erupts both ash explosions and lava flows. The last eruption was in 1999. Photo provided by Andrew Logan.
