Mount St. Helens dome continues to grow from shallow intrusion of magma pushing up glacier ice (black and white blocks at far left) and old talus of 1980s' dome growth (smooth gray area to right of ice). Older lava dome is rough area to the right. New endogenous (grows from within) dome lobe is about 500 meters wide and 110 meters high.
